Though restaurants and bars throughout the San Francisco Bay Area are shut down due to the city-wide shelter in place mandate, many of our go-to eateries are still open for pick up and delivery! And what better way to pass the time than eat meal after meal from your favorite spots? Not to mention helping to support local businesses? From dumplings, curries and deep dish pizza to ice cream sandwiches, cheeses and immune-boosting smoothies, there’s something for every craving.

In honor of indulgently quarantining, we’ve rounded up the best dishes to order at these 30 restaurants open for business!

In addition to the delivery services below, Haight Street Slice House, Tony’s Coal Fired Pizza, and Capo’s are all delivering and offering something called the Pizza Valet, where they will bring the pizza to you and you can call the restaurant to pay over the phone with a credit card (rather than paying with cash to use social distancing practices). 

Tony’s Pizza Napoletana will be offering a limited delivery and takeout menu through their 3rd party delivery partners Caviar, UberEats and DoorDash. You can find their NY style 20” pizzas on their menu for takeout and delivery. Takeout orders may be picked up at Tony’s Coal Fired Pizza next door. You may call the restaurant at 415-835-9888 to order a pickup order, or, you can order takeout or delivery through their 3rd party partners.

Capo’s will be offering a limited delivery and takeout menu through their 3rd party delivery partners Caviar, UberEats and DoorDash. You may call the restaurant at 415-986-8998 to order a pickup order, or, you can order takeout or delivery through our 3rd party partners.

Hours: China Live is offering take out and delivery, Monday-Friday 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Boudin is offering delivery through third party services like Grubhub and Postmates. For those that are craving San Francisco classics, of course the most popular item is Boudin’s clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. Pair the clam chowder with a variety of hearty sandwiches served on their sliced sourdough. Add one of Boudin’s iconic sourdough loafs to utilize for the week or maybe choose a fun turtle or crab-shaped loaf.

Hours: open for pick up Tuesday to Friday from 12 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Open for takeout and delivery, CREAM, which stands for Cookies Rule Everything Around Me, CREAM’s variety of delivery services including  DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates, ezCater and Grubhub depending on location. Options range from custom ice cream sandwiches, tacos, sundaes, milkshakes and more.

“For takeout or delivery, these are the dishes I think are tasty and travel well. The Samusa Soup is a favorite, it’s a hearty, warm, vegetarian soup with crunchy samusas and falafels in the soup. You can’t have Burma Superstar without the Tea Leaf Salad. We’re also doing a new thing where we now have tea leaf salad kits available for delivery that come with the dressing and crunchies,” says Desmond Tan, Owner of Burma Inc.

“Customers can recreate their own version adding any fresh ingredients they want. Each kit can make four salads. Try any of the Burmese Curries. I’m partial to the pork or beef with a side of Coconut rice. And Spicy Noodles are a must, noodle fans will love the Spicy Noodles. It’s a sweet and spicy rice noodle dish, similar to Pad Thai and gluten-free. You can have it with Hodo Organic tofu, but I like the shrimp version best. You can’t go wrong with these dishes.”

The original Dumpling Time, located at 11 Division Street, will remain open for takeout and delivery between 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. from Tuesday through Sunday. The entire menu will be available. Dumpling Time Express and Thrive City are closed.

The Butcher Shop will remain open on Tuesday through Sunday for those looking to purchase various meat cuts including Japanese A5 wagyu and dry-aged domestic USDA Prime Beef.

Okane remains open for delivery and takeout through Caviar, Postmates, and UberEats. The full menu is available.

The market welcomes guests to stock up on fresh food and pantry items and support local farmers. The outdoor, open-air setting offers an unconfined space and is ideal for social distancing compared to supermarkets. Additional hand washing stations have been provided at the market.

Golden Gate Meat Company at the Ferry Building will continue to serve its guests through its fully stocked butcher counter, offering fresh beef, lamb, pork, poultry, game meats and a variety of wagyu. The shop also has fully cooked rotisserie chickens, smoked ribs, salads, pizzas, soup, house-made sausages, and charcuterie, all available for take-away.

The Ferry Building Café remains open with a limited menu that includes pastries, coffee, oatmeal, granola parfaits, soup, avocado toast, grilled cheese, and beverages. . Pastries, including empanadas and quiche, can be bought frozen and baked at home.

Mariposa Baking Company is currently offering its full menu for breakfast and lunch, and frozen items such as cupcakes and cake, all for pick-up. 

How to Order: Orders for all menu items can be placed over the phone at (415) 445-9860. Orders can be placed over the phone for pick-up while supplies last.

El Porteño will continue to offer take-out service at the Ferry Building and free delivery service to residents in San Francisco, the East Bay, and the Peninsula. Delivery will be no-contact, with a sealed box of eight fully cooked, frozen empanadas left at your door. Choose from an assortment box or meat and vegetarian options.

Hours: Tuesday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m-2:30 p.m., Closed Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday

Stonehouse California Olive Oil’s Ferry Building shop will be operating at reduced hours over the coming weeks to coincide with the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Customers can replenish their groceries at the Ferry Building shop or refill their olive oil.

Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant continues to offer to-go orders from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., pickup in-store and curbside, delivery of wine, spirits, beer, liquor (online and via phone) nationwide, and a “Shelter in Place Survival Kit” (available by phone order only). Staff is also available via Facetime to help customers shop, and the shop is offering 10 percent off all to-go food and cheese, as well as 15 percent off any mix and match 12 bottles of wine. The wine club is still operating and accepting new members.

Delica continues to provide nutritious, Japanese-influenced meals for takeaway in the Ferry Building shop and delivery through Doordash and Caviar during this time. 

Humphry Slocombe continues to offer takeaway pints, scoops in cups and bowls, and delivery of the full menu from the Ferry Building shop. For those purchasing five pints via Doordash, Humphry Slocombe will deliver a sixth pint for free. Curbside pick-up will be coming soon. Humphry Slocombe pints are also available in grocery stores throughout the Bay Area.

Manresa Family Meal includes a pescatarian, vegetarian, or meat option each evening. The menu will change daily, and they will be posting offerings the day before, i.e. today for Friday, etc. Manresa is opening up their wine list for take-away too, so follow Master Sommelier’s Jim Rollston’s recommendations for wine, beer, and champagne to pair with that evening’s meal.

Head to Yountville’s Atelier Fine Foods, an epicurean boutique, for a curated assortment of culinary delights ideal for a time when all you can really do is indulge at home! Offerings include locally sourced goods from Napa and Sonoma alongside specialty products from international producers. Stop by for all your gourmet snacking needs such as honey, dry pastas, Napa Valley locally-produced olive oils, smoked salmon, California caviar, truffles, foie gras, terrines, prosciutto, local and international cheeses and more.

INDIE SUPERETTE, MINA Group's newly opened wellness market and cafe in Cow Hollow, is open for pick-up and to-go orders. INDIE’s menu of plant-based fare fuels guests’ bodies with nutritious, immune-boosting and adaptogenic-filled smoothies, acai bowls, veggie burgers, grain bowls, cold-pressed juices, and more. 

“The best item for delivery/take out at Teleferic is paella. It's a complete dish, with vegetables, rice, and generally a seafood or protein. It's also easy to transport, and at Teleferic guests can take it home inside the paella pan so it stays hot. Open for takeout via phone or online ordering, Servino Ristorante is serving menu highlights that include agnolotti filled with lobster, served with thyme, lemon zest and cream, the Eggplant Parmigiana and more.
