At the end of 2018 the United States Eventing Association (USEA) launched a new website and with this update came a new process for the USEA’s online competition calendar. This change was not a result of the new website, but because the USEA Omnibus is no longer being offered in a printed version. For years the USEA printed three editions of the Omnibus annually (winter/spring, summer, and fall). The print deadline was the due date given to the organizers specifically for the printed copy, but also included the online listings with the events being released all on one date to correspond with the three editions (three times a year). In the past, an event running in May would have had to complete their listing by the previous October, forcing the organizer to list incomplete and potentially inaccurate information. Now, organizers are required to submit their prize lists 30 days prior to the opening date of the event for publication on the USEA’s online competition calendar.
